ABOUT:         CBP is hosting a recruitment event at Cameron Works (Old
Amigo-Land Mall) regarding a vacancy announcement for the CBP officer position.
Chief Sylvia Gutierrez, National Recruiter, Human Resources, will give
prospective applicants a briefing on the duties, responsibilities, and the
requirements for becoming a CBP officer. There will be a bank of computers
available for those wanting to apply for the CBP officer position on site. CBP
officers will be on hand to help applicants navigate their way through the
online application process.
Media are invited to attend and do one-on-one interviews, record b-roll,
and take still photographs.
